Brad Prevedoros was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. An acclaimed guitarist, he has been performing professionally in North America and Europe since 1982, both as a solo performer and together with a group of accomplished artists.
Performance venues have included concerts, special events, private functions and radio and television. Brad studied guitar at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and composition and arranging at Capilano College in Vancouver. He also attended Naropa Institute in Colorado where he studied guitar, jazz improvisation, theory and composition with such noted artists as Ralph Towner, Bill Douglas and the jazz ensemble Oregon.
He has written, arranged and produced music for solo guitar as well as for a variety of other instrumental combinations including a 17-piece stage band. His compositions have been used on theatre and video productions and he has nine internationally distributed recordings of his own with total sales of exceeding one quarter of a million units.
Recently, the title track from his recording "Firedance" was selected to be included on the millennium "Best Of The West" collector's edition CD entitled "Go West - A Vital Collection Of Western Canadian Music".
Currently Brad performs his solo repertoire of classical, latin, Celtic, popular, jazz and original music at such world famous venues as Sooke Harbour House and The Aerie Resort on Vancouver Island. He also tours and performs concerts and festivals with his four-piece Latin-jazz ensemble "Firedance".
