Reviews We love that new CD. Its fantastic - start to finish. Ally is particulary partial to 'Dr. Muffin', the elephant song and 'Peggy's on the Go'. I love the 'grumpies' and most of all the rain song. The messages are clear and fun without preaching. Ally is going to be psyched for next live preformance - let us know about any dates. Take care. Peter Harris Ever since we saw you in Chemainus Dec.15, "Magic Garbage Can" has been my children's first choice when playing music! They love it-Amanda knows all the words! Your music has a special appeal to young and old(like me). We wish you success and we'll be first in line to buy your next cd. Carolyn Thompson We'd like to thank you very much for the cd. Everyone(especially Peter) has thoroughly enjoyed it. Best of luck in your new endeavors. Michael Monahan As a father of five, Lafontaine finds plenty to write about in his children's music. The cd's title track voices children's environmental concerns, through the story of Mrs. Elephant and Mr. Bird kids learn that a person's true value comes from within. Lafontaine deals with themes close to a child's heart, such as peer pressure in the song Best Friends. The children's music has been described by one fan as "huggable" and never fails to include an element of fun and humor. Vicky Goodeve of The Ladysmith-Chemainus Chronicle Terrific...beautiful...very gifted...very imaginative...you are capable of winning a Juno Award Jacquie Droz, music instructor Local singer-songwriter Richard Lafontaine had to be booked, she said, "because of popular demand" Shannon Smillie, Family Fun Festival
