baby mumbles
Baby Mumbles, the dancing hippopotomus Liked to swim most days in the sun He'd copy Mom by blowing bubbles too But his favorite game was to dance like the monkeys do ('cause he could dance too)
Baby Mumbles would often pretend To dance and swing like his monkey friends Some days he got carried away And he would lead the monkeys in a dancing parade
'Cause he could walk like he could swing like he could dance like the monkeys too
he could mumble he could tumble Mumble tumbled like the monkeys do
Baby Mumbles... like to dance and swing more than anything But poor Mumbles... his Mom found out, she wouldn't let him go out So baby Mumbles... played hippo games until he grew up
Then one day, Mumbles stumbled to the jungle to join his monkey friends to dance and swing and do his monkey thing
