General Questions

You might be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied after a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Cd Isle.ca, you are considered the importer of record, and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of your order's contents by product type.

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers who ship products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Cd Isle is, first and foremost, an archive committed to preserving and promoting the musical works of island recording artists, from British Columbia, Canada.

  • to work in partnership with recording artists, their distributors, the fans, the promoters and all who support the island arts

Cd Isle is owned and operated by island recording artists Ric Lafontaine and Elly Parker. Both have been active on Vancouver Island's music scene since 1990. Ric is also the founder of Nanaimo Songwriters Circle and Island Showcase.

The US dollar is more globally recognized.
The majority of customers  at Cd Isle are U.S. citizens.

Ordering

After filling my order form I was unable to get to PayPal

There is no need to fill another order. Cd Isle has probably received it and will send you a PayPal Money Request which will include a copy of your order.
Please email order@cdisle.ca if you have not heard from us within 24 hrs.

If you have a PayPal account you can log in Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly. and send your payment to  sales@cdisle.ca

 

Can I pay over the telephone with my credit card?
and what if I don't have a PayPal account?

No. We only accept credit cards through PayPal.
However we will accept a personal cheque or money order.

What if Cd Isle receives more than one(1) order for the same cd(s)?

We process the most recent order only, if received within the same hour.
